Hello lovely people! A different blog post for you today – one that isn’t about food or coffee or an art gallery, but about a lot of different thoughts.
Next month, I hit two years on my blog (I know, time flies! How has it been this long!). After three refurbs, three photographers and three different cities – I think I have finally settled with one of each. If you haven’t noticed, I revamped my blog (which I highlighted on my Instagram – if you don’t follow me, it’s @elizabethandher) which I felt like it needed a fresh face AND I have some exciting things planned for the future re: fashion and photography content.
I feel like I change my blog every year and it gives me some much-needed motivation that often comes with the end of the year slump. However, recently, I have found it hard to know what to write about – there are so many cafès and coffee that I can write about before it becomes a bit…. mundane in terms of content.
There has been a lot of things up in the air: whether or not I continue my blog altogether and just move to Instagram content (I love writing, so that would make me sad, plus I like sharing my thoughts on this platform!) whether I change what I write about and focus more on fashion and life issues. I don’t really know where I want to go.
I also want to start my youtube channel properly, which has been in the works for a while. The problem is: with all my other commitments – university, living at college, maintaining a social life and managing to catch up on new episodes of The Good Wife (which, by the way, is my favourite show at the mo) , having a relationship with my boyfriend (which is also long distance so that means traveling home every so often or him coming up to Melbourne), calling my parents, going to work, getting good grades, exercising and trying not to eat vegan dark chocolate ALL the time (ie: maintaining somewhat of a healthy foodie regime) – keeping up with blogging and writing every week is seriously, seriously hard.
So I guess what I am saying is after two years of (somewhat!) posting regularly – I am going a bit rogue with my posting. I don’t know whether this will work or not, but let’s give it a shot!
