Hello all! This week, I bring you another foodie post. For those that follow me on instagram (and if you don’t, you really should – @elizabethandher), I am quite the fan of acai. I think some would say that I am the biggest fan of acai out there – I even ate a 1L bowl on Australia Day!
I have tried many acai bowls in my short lifetime but I always go back to Acai Brother’s Neutral Bay. Ash (the owner) and his staff are some of the friendliest people you will meet. So far, I have tried most of the acai bowls there (apparently the lemon bowl is really good as well!) but my go-to is the “ain’t nothin’ butter bowl” which is acai, peanut butter, cacao, coconut nectar, banana, coconut yogurt and cacao nibs. You get to choose three toppings – I always get strawberry, banana and apple but they have a ton of other choices such as passionfruit, mango etc. (seasonal, of course).
I also tried out the raw coconut slice and the peanut butter and cacao slice which were delicious! The coconut one tastes like a healthy bounty and the peanut butter and cacao slice tastes like reese’s pieces. So yummy! Acai Brothers also does smoothies (a mixture of fruit and acai ones), juices and coffees/teas.
Acai Brothers also has stores in Brisbane (Wellington Point, Victoria Point, Morningside), Sunshine Coast (Mooloolaba), Sydney (North Bondi, Parramatta, Neutral Bay), Perth (Fremantle), Queensland (Paddington) and Victoria (Brighton).
If you go to Acai Brothers in Neutral Bay tag me in the photos! I’d love to hear what you think of it as well!
