March/April Favourites

Long time – no speak! I am so, so, so sorry for the lack of blog posts lately. I’ve been struggling with some personal issues (I’ll write about that later if I feel ready to, I suppose) – so I have  needed to give myself to reflect on some decisions and to get my life back on track.

Now that it is nearing to summer – I am so ready for the influx of summer blog posts that are going to come your way! I rolled my March + April favourites together, seeing I did not really have many for the end of winter.

Without further ado – here we go!

AUD – $83

GBP – £38.50

The third palette in the collection, Urban Decay released this rose-toned eyeshadow collection (12 eyeshadows in total) in December 2013. Although that is almost three years ago,  I have still managed to fall in love with this palette over and over again. I feel like the rose gold scheme is perfect for the autumn/summer transition, and that the colours are particularly versatile for whatever look you are going for. My favourite colours in the range are Strange (the white shade on the left) and Trick (the rose gold colour, in the middle).

Dior ‘Miss Dior’ Perfume

AUD – $165 (50ml)

GPD – £70 (50ml)

To be honest, I do not understand why I have not talked about this perfume in my previous posts. If you know me personally, it is the only perfume I ever wear – I have gone through around four bottles (+ two travel sized ones) in the 5 years that I have been wearing it. I would call it, my ‘signature’ perfume scent, which, for the moment, has stuck around (who knows if it will change!). I find the smell of the perfume is quite summery, but I wear it all year round. Also – how adorable is the bottle?! Miss Dior also comes in another formula, called Blooming Bouquet, which has more ‘sweet flower’ notes (100% a summery perfume), as I feel like the normal formula can be used all year round.

SkinnyDip ‘Unicorn’ Phone Case

This has been my go-to phone case for the last two months – I love the look of having the gold on my phone exposed, whilst still keeping it protected. I feel like, although they are plastic, SkinnyDip Cases are quite sturdy, and come in many different varieties. I chose the chubby unicorn one – I find it adorable!

Percy Pig ‘Veggie Percy’ Gummies

AUD – Unavaliable

GBP – £2.50

I prefer Veggie Percy Pigs (meaning they do not contain gelatin or red food colouring – although they do contain beeswax, which is tough for those who are vegan!) more than the original ones – I find them softer and chewier! These have been my favourite sweet snack of the spring months.

Marks & Spencer ‘Organic Green + Lemon Tea’

AUD – Unavailable

GBP – £2.00

After a sleepless night, sometimes, I prefer to avoid caffinated drinks in the morning, and opt for a green tea instead. I like this one from Marks and Spencer because it also contains lemon – which I find can speed up my metabolism, and can make me feel more alert/awake in the mornings. I also like to drink this at night too – if I am very tired.

Sorry for the short amount of favourites this month!! I plan to have some more for summer – so stay tuned!

Have a wonderful evening/morning/night/day, wherever you are in the world –

x Lizzie
